Set Accessibility Mode for Employee

At any time you can set a worker’s account to an accessible and screen reader friendly version of WhenToWork for them. This version of w2w has all available features for employees but in a high contrast, screen reader friendly and VPAT approved for accessibility. We only recommend this version if the employee has vision challenges.

To set an Employee to use Accessibility mode

From any page: 

  • In the top menu, click EMPLOYEES
  • Click the pencil icon pencil icon next to the employee name to open their Edit Employee window  (Don’t see the pencil icon? Please contact your main manager to update your manager permissions to allow you to edit employees if appropriate.)
  • Scroll down to the OPTIONS section
  • Check “Set this Employee to ‘Accessibility Mode‘”
  • Click the Save button

This employee’s account is now in Accessibility mode.
