There is a ‘Manager Notes’ section at the bottom of each week’s schedule, but we do not have a manager note per shift so what we recommend instead is to consider using our “Category” feature.
You can add ‘Categories’ in your account to reflect your needed manager codes for shifts, and change your employee permissions to turn off the ability for employees to see the category of a shift (to do this go to your SETTINGS > Global Employee‘Permissions tab option # 2 and turn to ‘No’ then save changes). That way you could set the Category of each shift to reflect the needed manager specific code and only the managers would see that information. Using Categories also allows you to view shifts by Category, also run reports across those Categories etc.
I am hoping to somehow add a managers note to a certain shift that will not be viewable to the employee.
