If you have overnight shifts and employees request a “full day” time off you can choose to uncheck a conflicting shift if you like.
For example, if your employee asks for all day Thursday off, and you want to keep them assigned to a technically conflicting shift that starts or ends during that full day (12am – midnight Wednesday) you can uncheck that shift to keep them assigned to that shift while approving the time off.
The employee will be notified that the time off is approved and also if the week is published they will be reminded of the shift you chose to keep them assigned to.
