Talk to your main manager to allowing that for you if it is missing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>When you first signed into your account, you entered some Positions and employees. You can always add more Positions or <a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-positions\/h-edit-positions\/\">change your Positions<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-emp-view-edit\/h-emp-positions-grid\/\">set which Employees can work them<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>To Add a New Position<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>In the top menu, choose\u00a0<strong>EMPLOYEES&gt; Positions Grid<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Add \/ Edit Positions<\/strong> button<\/li>\n<li>OR on any schedule view click the <strong>All Positions dropdown<\/strong> and choose <strong>Add\/Edit Positions<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Type a new Position and click the\u00a0<strong>Add<\/strong> button (the new name will appear in list on the right) Note that if your account is set to a &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/sort-order-of-positions\/\">Custom Position Sort<\/a>&#8221; the new position will be at the bottom of the list.<\/li>\n<li>Continue adding positions and click\u00a0<strong>Close<\/strong>\u00a0when you are done<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/ssaddposw.png\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4823\" src=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/ssaddposw.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"417\" srcset=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/ssaddposw.png 700w, https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/ssaddposw-300x179.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now in the Grid, check off which employees can work these new positions and click <strong>Save<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-emp-view-edit\/h-emp-positions-grid\/\">\u2192More<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also. if this new position should be included in a position group be sure to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-edit-pos-groups\/\">edit the position group<\/a><\/strong> to include it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-positions\/h-edit-positions\/\"><strong>EDIT Positions<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(jobs) to change the way the position label\/name displays on all schedules<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-positions\/h-delete-positions\/\"><strong>DELETE Positions<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(jobs) if you make a mistake and enter an unnecessary position you want to completely remove.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"extrawords\">How do i add a position, how to add position\u00a0 add position adding a new position adding a new position\u00a0 create position create position add postio9n new\u00a0 position position positions\u00a0 adding a new position adding a new position create a position create a position create a position add position add position\u00a0 position position\u00a0 adding positions to schedule add position\u00a0 create a new position add position\u00a0 How to add a position schedule add position\u00a0 add a shift type<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Down see Add\/Edit Positions in the dropdown?\u00a0 Only managers with permission to add\/edit positions will see that link.
