{"id":558,"date":"2018-05-02T21:23:05","date_gmt":"2018-05-02T21:23:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/?page_id=558"},"modified":"2020-12-26T21:39:47","modified_gmt":"2020-12-26T21:39:47","slug":"show-time-off-on-schedule","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/show-time-off-on-schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Show Time Off on Schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-view-edit-sched\/h-by-emp-drag-drop\/\">By Employee<\/a>,&#8221; &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-cal-weekly-view\/\">Calendar Weekly<\/a>&#8221; and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-sched-view-layouts\/h-availability\/\">Availability<\/a>&#8221; Schedule Views allow Time Off to show directly on the schedule display and printout.<\/p>\n<p>There is a &#8220;<strong>Change Layout<\/strong>&#8221; link (on the left just above your schedule data) that you can click to change the information that appears on the Screen View and\/or Printout for that schedule view.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you enable Time Off to show on the Screen View and click\u00a0<strong>Save<\/strong>, approved and pending Time Off will show on your schedule.\u00a0If you scroll down on the Change Layout popup to change the &#8220;Printout&#8221; section options to show approved and pending Time Off, and then click\u00a0<strong>Save<\/strong>, the next time you use our\u00a0<strong>Print<\/strong>\u00a0button on that schedule view the Time Off should show as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Some users who want to have time off appear on other views (including employee displays) opt to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-time-off-cannot\/h-timeoff-shifts\/\">create &#8220;shifts&#8221; for time off<\/a>\u00a0vs. using our time off system.\u00a0 This involves creating positions for your time off or various types of time off, ex. &#8220;PTO,&#8221; &#8220;Personal Day,&#8221; etc. and then creating a shift for that person with the paid hours set based on whether it is a paid time off.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"extrawords\">show a team \/ employee\u2019s time off on daily and monthly calendar, see time off and shifts with calendar print approved time off pint out printout time off time off time off show sick<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8220;By Employee,&#8221; &#8220;Calendar Weekly&#8221; and &#8220;Availability&#8221; Schedule Views allow Time Off to show directly on the schedule display and printout.
