{"id":5437,"date":"2020-11-18T02:31:35","date_gmt":"2020-11-18T02:31:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/?page_id=5437"},"modified":"2021-04-21T16:29:27","modified_gmt":"2021-04-21T16:29:27","slug":"control-who-is-notified-when-publish","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/control-who-is-notified-when-publish\/","title":{"rendered":"Control Who Is Notified When Publish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are three global account settings that control how publish\/unpublish notices go out.<\/p>\n<p>On your <a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-settings\/h-co-settings\/\"><strong>SETTINGS&gt; Co \/ My Info<\/strong> page<\/a>, if you are allowed to change Company Settings, you will see under NOTIFICATIONS three options:<\/p>\n<p><label>&#8211; Send to all employees when Publish and Unpublish<\/label><br \/>\n<label>&#8211; Send to all when Unpublish but only those assigned when Publish<\/label><br \/>\n<label>&#8211; Do NOT send employee notifications when Publish or Unpublish<\/label><a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/sspubnotices.png\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5439\" src=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/sspubnotices.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"370\" srcset=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/sspubnotices.png 700w, https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/sspubnotices-300x159.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Make changes if needed and then click the Save button.<\/p>\n<p>Once that is set, then each <a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-email-notifcations\/\">employees&#8217; notification options<\/a> will control whether they get an email, text or push notification.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"extrawords\">If I publish a new schedule that does not have any shifts for a particular employee, does that employee still get a &#8220;new scheduled published&#8221; email?
