In normal situations, the Repeat function would not be used because there is not an easy way to delete or edit bulk shifts over a number of weeks in the future (<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-view-edit-sched\/h-shift-grid-bulk-edit\/\">Bulk edit<\/a>\u00a0can only be done one week at a time).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Our system is designed so that each week you\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-auto-sched-week\/h-import\/\">Import a Previous Week (or Saved Template)<\/a>\u00a0(clearing the work assignments) and then\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-auto-sched-week\/h-auto-assign\/\">AutoFill<\/a>\u00a0to automatically assign the open shifts based on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-let-emps-signin\/h-emp-prefs\/\">Employee Work Time Preferences<\/a>, granted time off, and any other constraints you have set.<\/p>\n<p>In certain circumstances, for example, if you are adding classes that are taught over 8 weeks, etc., the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-view-edit-sched\/h-repeat-shifts\/\"><strong>Add Shifts &#8220;Repeat for x Weeks&#8221;<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0might be appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"extrawords\">add shift multiple weeks<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why don&#8217;t I see the \u2018Repeat for # weeks&#8217; in the Add Shifts window?
