This can be useful to track who changed details about a shift or assigned it.<\/p>\n<h2>Viewing the &#8220;Shift History&#8221;<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Click the\u00a0<strong>shift<\/strong>\u00a0to open the Shift Change window<\/li>\n<li>Click the\u00a0<strong>Shift History<\/strong>\u00a0link in the upper right<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/ssshifthistory.png\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9370\" src=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/ssshifthistory.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"547\" srcset=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/ssshifthistory.png 700w, https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/ssshifthistory-300x234.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All the changes made to that shift in the last 90 days will be included (or longer if in the PRO Plan).<\/p>\n<p>The shift history includes a checkmark icon when the change was made on a published shift and the &#8220;Notify affected employees checkbox was checked&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>You can also:<\/p>\n<p>1) Set\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-settings\/h-my-notifications\/\">your notifications<\/a>\u00a0to send you an email every time another manager changes a published shift.<\/p>\n<p>2) Run the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/h-sub-view-edit-sched\/export-shift-history-report\/\"><b class=\"title\">Export Recent Shift History<\/b><\/a>\u00a0on the <strong>REPORTS<\/strong> page and do that once a month to be sure you have an archive saved of all shift changes (this report only goes back the last 45 days unless you are in the <a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/mgr\/w2w-pro-plan\/\">Pro Plan<\/a> which will retain shift histories indefinitely from the date Pro Plan starts)<\/p>\n<p>Note: If you allow employees to trade or pick up shifts &#8220;At Will&#8221;, you will see the employee that &#8220;changed&#8221; a shift and picked it up along with when the shift was originally created and when any other changes were made.
