This can be useful, for example, when a helper can never work after 10:15 PM, etc. or if you want to set the helper to be off every other Wednesday. Note: <strong>Setting Cannot Help times does NOT affect any already assigned shifts &#8211; they can only be used in the future when you AutoFill<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>WhenToHelp defaults to having the helpers NOT be able to enter their own Cannot Help Times. You can change this option on the <a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-settings\/h-co-settings-emp-perm\/\">SETTINGS&gt;Global Helper Permissions<\/a> page and allow helpers to set their own Cannot Help times.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>To set Cannot Help Times for a Helper:<\/h2>\n<p>From any page:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the top menu, click\u00a0<strong>HELPERS<\/strong>\u00a0to open the Helper List page\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Click the\u00a0<strong>magnifying glass icon\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"noborder alignnone wp-image-2069 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/07\/icon__fa-search-e1531257746639.png\" alt=\"magnify glass icon\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/><\/strong>\u00a0next to the helper&#8217;s name to open the View Helper Details window\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Click the\u00a0<strong>Schedule &#8211; Preferences<\/strong>\u00a0tab\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"highlight\"><strong>The &#8220;REPEATING Weekly Preferences&#8221; (and &#8220;FUTURE REPEATING Preferences&#8221;) should be set first\u00a0<span class=\"red\">(1.)<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0&#8211; the cells<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1em;\"> that correspond to times this helper cannot help by clicking and holding down the left mouse button while over the times (or click day name to color the whole day).<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>OR you can load any saved preference templates or use the form to enter times<\/li>\n<li>Enter all of the Repeating Weekly Cannot Help times (or other &#8220;prefer&#8221;
