
{"id":876,"date":"2018-05-04T04:39:29","date_gmt":"2018-05-04T04:39:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/?page_id=876"},"modified":"2020-09-25T22:45:43","modified_gmt":"2020-09-25T22:45:43","slug":"f-delete-helpers","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/f-delete-helpers\/","title":{"rendered":"What happens if delete helper?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>What happens when I delete a helper?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-emp-view-edit\/h-delete-emp\/\">delete a helper<\/a>, their past shift assignments and helper information remain in your account for historical purposes, but they are automatically unassigned from any future shifts and are then not listed in the regular Helpers List.<\/p>\n<p>So if you have a future shift that was assigned to that deleted helper, that shift will be set to unassigned. You can click on it to assign to a new helper. The past assignments of the deleted helper remain for historical purposes, but you can always click on that past shift to delete or reassign it if that deleted helper did not work it or you want to remove it from your account.<\/p>\n<p>You can view shifts for a deleted helper using any schedule view that is not listed by helper, ex.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-sched-view-layouts\/h-cal-weekly-view\/\">Calendar Weekly<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-view-edit-sched\/h-shift-grid-bulk-edit\/\">Grid View<\/a>, or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-sched-view-layouts\/h-graphical-view\/\">Graphical<\/a>\u00a0sorted by Position, or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-sched-view-layouts\/h-by-position-view\/\">By Position<\/a>, etc. or by going to the\u00a0<strong>HELPERS<\/strong>&gt;Deleted Helpers page and clicking the deleted helper&#8217;s &#8220;<strong>View Schedule<\/strong>&#8221; link.<\/p>\n<p>You also can view information about a deleted helper by using the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-view-edit-sched\/h-search\/\">Search<\/a>\u00a0button found on most schedule views.<\/p>\n<p>Deleted helpers can be restored from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-emp-view-edit\/h-delete-emp-restore\/\"><strong>HELPERS<\/strong>&gt;Deleted Helpers<\/a>\u00a0page by coordinators with permission to add\/delete helpers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"extrawords\">retain their data for budgeting purposes<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What happens when I delete a helper?
