Ex. to call attention to them on the schedule, to mark the shift as verified, or that the helper was late, etc.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Shifts can be displayed in colors in various ways:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on any shift in the system and in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-auto-sched-week\/h-making-sched-change\/\"><strong>Shift Change<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0window, change the Display Color\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Use the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-sched-view-layouts\/h-mulit-shift-edit\/\"><strong>Multi-Shift Edit<\/strong>\u00a0Schedule View<\/a>\u00a0to choose the color for multiple shifts at a time and click <strong>Save Changes<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-cat-sft-colors\/h-add-new-cat\/\">Create a Category<\/a>\u00a0that has an &#8220;Add Shifts Default&#8221; Display Color and when you add new shifts, the Display Color will be defaulted to that color<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note that color coding is based on shifts, not helpers or Positions (although you could manually color code helpers by coloring their shifts).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"extrawords\">certain helpers to show as a different color on the schedule in the &#8220;By Helper&#8221; schedule view<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shifts can be set to display in different colors for a variety of reasons.
