{"id":1026,"date":"2018-05-04T20:30:51","date_gmt":"2018-05-04T20:30:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/?page_id=1026"},"modified":"2020-09-25T23:05:06","modified_gmt":"2020-09-25T23:05:06","slug":"shifts-missing-from-tradeboard","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/shifts-missing-from-tradeboard\/","title":{"rendered":"Tradeboard Shifts Missing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When a helper places a shift on the <a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-tradeboard\/\">Tradeboard<\/a>\u00a0(for &#8216;<strong>Trade<\/strong>&#8216; or &#8216;<strong>Trade or Drop<\/strong>&#8216;) and another helper makes an offer on that shift,\u00a0<strong>the shift disappears from the Tradeboard<\/strong>\u00a0to avoid multiple offers.\u00a0\u00a0The trade offer is then sent back to the originating helper for approval.\u00a0\u00a0If the helper approves the trade, it will be sent to coordinators for final approval.<\/p>\n<p>During the interim, while the trade is awaiting helper approval, you can see it listed in the &#8220;<strong>Offers in Progress<\/strong>&#8221; section at the bottom of your\u00a0<strong>Trades Awaiting Approval<\/strong>\u00a0page.<\/p>\n<p>Note that\u00a0<strong>Unassigned shifts posted for pickup or shifts posted for &#8216;Drop Only&#8217;<\/strong>\u00a0do not require helper approval, and\u00a0<strong>those shifts will sit on the Tradeboard\u00a0collecting more offers<\/strong>, so that coordinators will be able to choose from various offers.<\/p>\n<p>We avoid multiple offers for shift trades, but allow them for unassigned shift pickups and for &#8220;drop only&#8221; posts.<\/p>\n<p>If there\u2019s a shift that has disappeared in the midst of the trade process, it\u2019s possible that a coordinator edited the shift in question.\u00a0 If a shift\u2019s date or time or position is changed, the edit is significant enough that the trade offer is cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"extrawords\">once any helper requests to pick up that shift, the shift becomes unavailable for anyone else to pick it up<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When a helper places a shift on the Tradeboard\u00a0(for &#8216;Trade&#8216; or &#8216;Trade or Drop&#8216;) and another helper makes an offer on that shift,\u00a0the shift disappears&#8230;<\/p>\n<div class=\"more-link-wrapper\"><a class=\"more-link\" href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/shifts-missing-from-tradeboard\/\">More<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Tradeboard Shifts Missing<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":10,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/1026"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1026"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/1026\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":5293,"href":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/1026\/revisions\/5293"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1026"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
