{"id":1021,"date":"2018-05-04T20:28:48","date_gmt":"2018-05-04T20:28:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/?page_id=1021"},"modified":"2018-09-19T18:48:03","modified_gmt":"2018-09-19T18:48:03","slug":"who-picked-up-shift-first","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-tradeboard\/who-picked-up-shift-first\/","title":{"rendered":"Who Picked up Shift First?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If more than one helper requests the same unassigned shift, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/when2work.com\/help\/guide\/h-sub-tradeboard\/h-pending-trades\/\">Pending Trades<\/a>\u00a0page lists them in the order received, where first request was sent first and all duplicate requests appear below that in the order received.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Note only one of those requests (the first one you approve) will be assigned and all other helpers who requested that same shift will be sent a denial message that their pickup was not approved.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When helpers look at their Tradeboard and click any open shift, they can see if there are already other helpers asking for that specific shift.<\/p>\n<p>So if shifts for the same time and Position are available, they should submit their pickup request for a shift that does not already have a pending offer to increase the likelihood that their request will be approved.
